Final proposals for a shake-up of Lancaster City Council electoral wards have been revealed.
Under the proposals, a new Bowerham ward will be created, and the existing Skerton West and Harbour wards will change their names to Scale Hall and West End respectively.
Halton-with-Aughton will be linked to Kellet in a new ward, to include the parishes of Nether Kellet and Over Kellet, as well as Gressingham and Arkholme-with-Cawood.
The number of Lancaster city councillors will increase from 60 to 61.
There will be no changes to the number of wards in the district (27) but the electoral boundaries of 15 of these wards will change.
There will be four single-councillor wards, 12 two-councillor wards and 11 three-councillor wards in the Lancaster and Morecambe district.
The proposals have been revealed after a Government electoral review of the Lancaster City Council area.

It was carried out by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England.
The aim of the electoral review was to recommend ward boundaries so that each councillor represents approximately the same number of voters.
Lancaster City Council currently has high levels of electoral inequality, with some councillors representing many more, or fewer, people than others.
It means the ward boundaries across Lancaster will need to be re-drawn.
You can see the proposals here.
The proposed changes must now be approved by Parliament.
The new arrangements will come into effect at the local elections in 2023, subject to Parliamentary approval.
The review cannot affect the external boundaries of the district or result in changes to postcodes. They do not take into account parliamentary constituency boundaries and will not have an effect on local taxes, house prices, or car and house insurance premiums.
The published proposals follow three periods of public consultation on the issue, and consultation with the council itself.
