Morecambe Bay Foodbank has launched its Christmas appeal and is looking for donations to help people who are struggling this festive season.
The foodbank is looking for:
Selection boxes, tins of sweets or chocolate, Christmas puddings, mince pies, tinned ham, crisps or crackers, packet instant mash and instant custard, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
You can donate at all major supermarkets in the local area.
Or you can donate direct to the foodbank, which is based in the Anchor Building on Westgate. Donations can be made between Monday and Friday, 9am to 3pm.
The foodbank will also be open on Saturday December 10.
Morecambe Bay Foodbank provides emergency food to people in crisis living across Lancaster and Morecambe Bay.
