The Lancaster MP, a Morecambe teacher and a fish and chip shop owner were among the many local people to complete this year's London Marathon.
Cat Smith, MP for Lancaster, and many others from North Lancashire were part of the record-breaking 48,000 who took on the 26.2 miles from Greenwich to The Mall on Sunday.
After finishing the marathon, Ms Smith posted on her Twitter page: "Did it! Everything hurts and I have blisters on both feet thanks to all that rain and wet trainers.
"But it’s worth it because I’ve raised £1,340 for St John's Hospice."

Paul Marshall, Year 6 teacher and PE Lead at Morecambe Bay Primary School, finished the marathon in three hours and 58 minutes.
Paul is raising money to help the school's Year 6 children to have a residential trip at the end of the summer term.

Nigel Hodgson, who runs Hodgson's Chippy in Lancaster, finished with a personal best of four hours and five minutes, raising more than £8,000 for Children with Cancer UK.

Owen Rowlands from Morecambe, who lost more than 13 stone - half his bodyweight - in preparation for the marathon, raised more than £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Candice Gourlay from Morecambe battled on through the pain of an injured knee suffered at the 6km mark to complete the race, raising money for Brain Research UK. Candice had surgery on a life-threatening brain condition just over 10 years ago.

Stuart Nevin, founder of Morecambe Community Runners, also took on the marathon.
Also taking part was Lancaster City footballer Christian Sloan, running for Brain Tumour Research in memory of his mum.

A team supporting Galloway's Society for the Blind also took part.
Kevin Crompton from Heysham, who is registered blind, was joined by guide runner Ricki Boswell-Challand and Ricki's wife Dawn, from Middleton, and friend Joanne Roberts from Morecambe.

Nicola Richards and Sara Gray from Heysham also ran the Marathon on Sunday.
Lancaster and Morecambe Athletics Club posted that all four of their members in the London Marathon had finished the course.
They were John Brassington (2hr 58.46), Steve Perry (3hr 47), Liz Smith (4hr 32.42) and Greg Lambert - no, not me! (4.59.11).
