An 11-year-old boy with a prosthetic leg has realised his dream to box in front of a crowd at his local club.
CJ Donaghey, known as 'The Bionic Boxer', donned the gloves for an exhibition bout on Wednesday at Coastal Amateur Boxing Club in Morecambe.
CJ, from Lancaster, had his right leg amputated at nine months of age after being born with Fibular hemimelia - a rare condition where part or all of the fibula—the smaller bone in the lower leg—is missing.
His mum and dad Keeley and Connor watched him fight and afterwards Connor said: "We're really proud of him.

"He's been coming to boxing training for two years. He's always had an interest in it. His leg doesn't stop him from doing anything."
He boxed three one-minute rounds with fellow young boxing trainee Keyaan Ilyas on Wednesday, to rapturous applause from the audience.

CJ also plays amputee football for England and has travelled with the team all over Europe.

Their exhibition took place before the start of a 'skills' show featuring other young boxers from the Coastal gym on West End Road.
