A pharmacy in Morecambe has closed its doors after many years of serving the community.
King Chemist on Lancaster Road, Torrisholme, shut over the Christmas period.
A sign outside the shop says: "We are closed.
"From Friday December 19 your prescriptions will now be on the NHS spine
"Please go to any pharmacy and give your name and date of birth.
"Thank you for all your support over the many years.
"John and staff."

A spokesperson for NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board confirmed that the pharmacy has closed.
He said that customers are directed to use other pharmacies within the local area for any pharmaceutical needs.
The nearest pharmacies to Torrisholme include those on Regent Road in the West End, Princes Crescent in Bare and Morecambe Health Centre Pharmacy.
The Lloyds Pharmacy inside Sainsbury's on Lancaster Road, Morecambe, closed in 2023.
