A Morecambe licensee says he is ready for the challenge of taking over his second pub in the town.
David Hutton is the new licensee at the Joiners Arms on Queen Street and will take charge later this year.
Mr Hutton already runs the Pier Hotel on Morecambe Promenade alongside other members of his family.
The Joiners has been closed for the past few months but could be open under the new management by the second week in October.

Mr Hutton said the Joiners would have a stage for live music acts and TVs for watching live sport.

He also said he intended to make changes to ensure the pub is a safe place for people to enjoy a night out.
This follows a series of incidents of night-time crime and anti-social behaviour on Queen Street earlier this year.
Mr Hutton said he would work alongside the police licensing officers, look at beefing up door security and cameras, and would "probably put in a dress code and age code to start off with".
"We'll try that and see how we go," he said.
"You're going to get the odd scallywag coming in, but we're trying to keep the nasty stuff out.
"Queen Street has always been a lively street, always been busy and vibrant, but it's the wrong type of vibrant now. But I think it will get cleaned up quite nicely over the next couple of years, so people can come out and enjoy themselves without having to worry."
Mr Hutton also plans to introduce free transport to his pubs to take customers to and from home.
The Morecambe-born pub boss recently returned to his home town after 17 years in New Zealand and took over the Pier earlier this year.
