Excited children - and adults too! - packed into a Morecambe play park for its official reopening after a £76,000 revamp.
Kids raced onto Torrisholme Play Park on Michaelson Avenue after an opening ceremony at 12.30pm on Wednesday, after queuing down the street in eager anticipation.
The playground's facelift was appreciated by children and adults alike.
Here are Ella and Holly cutting the ribbon to officially open the park, helped by staff from Lancaster City Council.

"It's brilliant, and it's amazing to see the park so packed!" said Sarah Buchan, chair of the Friends of Torrisholme Play Park.

"The equipment wasn't really suitable for most ages," said Sarah, explaining why the revamp was needed.
"This all started because I brought my little one and every time we came she seemed to fall over on a bit of floor that had come up or slip on a bit of slippery equipment.
"It's really lovely that the children now have somewhere to come to play with each other.
"The climbing frame is much bigger and much more suitable for a wider range of ages.
"We've got a couple of big slides, an obstacle course, and we've really tried our best to make it as accessible as possible."
The upgraded park has been made possible thanks to £50,000 from the Walney Extension Community Fund, £20,000 from the Lancashire Environmental Fund, and £6,000 from Lancaster City Council's own Making Spaces Fund.
Sarah thanked the team at Lancaster City Council for their hard work, and the Walney Extension Fund and Lancashire Environmental Fund for helping to finance the project.
