Two e-bikes and two e-scooters were seized during a police crackdown focussing on the cycle track between Lancaster and Morecambe.
The vehicles were seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act as part of the operation on Thursday (August 6), and will now be crushed.
Police also conducted six stop searches, and while talking to residents, received three pieces of intelligence relating to other matters that will be followed up in due course.

A spokesperson for Lancaster Area Police said: ‘’We heard through the Lancashire Talking survey, reports from the public and conversations with local residents that the Lancaster to Morecambe cycle track was causing concern.
‘’We carried out a dedicated operation along the route to help make it a safer place for everyone who uses it.
The seized e-bikes and e-scooters are already on their way through the disposal process, with a one-way ticket to the crusher.
‘’One of the highlights of the day was speaking with members of the public. It was great to hear that our presence on the cycle track was welcomed and reassured those using the route.
‘’This wasn't a one-off. We will continue to target the areas and issues that matter most to our communities and act on the concerns you raise.’’
