Three fire engines were sent to deal with a fire in the open at Middleton on Wednesday afternoon.
Hornby firefighters initially received the call at 1:45pm (October 14).
On arrival at Carr Lane, crews discovered that the fire had spread to a neighbouring outbuilding. Due to the developing situation, a message was sent to bring additional fire engines to the incident.
The Hornby crew worked alongside colleagues from Carnforth Fire Station and Lancaster Fire Station, with crews working together to tackle the fire and bring it under control.
Firefighters used three breathing apparatus, two main jets, two hose reels, a thermal imaging camera and P3 masks to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours.
