Just Pretending, a tribute to The Pretenders, is coming to Morecambe

Here is our weekly guide to what's on in local entertainment.

The Morecambe Film & TV Festival

A celebration of the film & TV industry and its ongoing developments. Featuring:

Thursday 14th – An IDEAL Night Out – A screening of two episodes of the TV comedy, followed by a Q&A with writer Graham Duff, producer Gill Isles, and star Johnny Vegas. (Johnny’s Warehouse Bar)

Friday 15th – The COMIC STRIP presents… - A screening of two shorts and a feature from the iconic show, followed by a Q&A with creator Peter Richardson. (REEL Cinema)

Saturday 16th – The Making of Henry V – documentary of the play performed at Lancaster Crown Court, followed by a Q&A with Matt Panesh. (West End Playhouse)

Morecambe Punk Festival

More than 50 bands over four days at Morecambe venues.

November 14-17, Johnny's Warehouse Bar and King's Arms, 

 

Darkside – The Seventies

The renowned tribute will focus on Pink Floyd’s music from the albums of the 1970s, from Atom Heart Mother through to The Wall, as part of the band’s The Hopeful and the Damned tour.

Eddie & The Hotrods

A set of punk tinged rock ‘n roll from one of the UK’s most enduring and influential bands.

Jaguar Skills

The legendary masked DJ known for his dynamite mixing skills and multi – genre sets, with everything from hip-hop to drum and bass, electronic to rock.

Queer Ceilidh

Featuring the Eskrigg Ceilidh Band with a night of queer joy and dance.

Darkside - From the Piper to The Bell

A selection of songs from across Pink Floyd’s long career, along with well-known favourites, as lart of the tribute band’s The Hopeful and the Damned tour.

A tribute like no other, paying homage to the legendary sounds of The Jam.
