A Christmas lights switch on event will be held at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary - including a special appearance by Santa.
The free ‘Light Up Christmas’ event will be held at the main entrance to the Centenary Building on Thursday December 11 at 4pm.
Bay Hospitals Charity is running the free family switch on, also featuring carol singers.
The celebrations are open to all members of the community as well as patients and hospital staff.
“Our Christmas lights ceremonies represent our charity’s commitment to bringing cheer to patients, colleagues and the wider community during the festive season," said Judith Read, Bay Hospitals charity manager.
"By coming along you’ll help us to spread positivity throughout our hospitals. It’s a chance to make memories and celebrate together as a community. Just turn up and enjoy the fun!”
Bay Hospitals Charity collects donations to help improve hospital environments, fund advanced equipment and provide extra care beyond what the NHS can offer. Donations make a real difference to people and help create the best possible experience for patients and families.
