Showaddywaddy will bring a throwback rock 'n' roll party to The Platform this Friday (October 14) and Beyond Radio has been catching up with longtime front man Dave Bartram and drummer Romeo Challenger.
Dave is now the manager of the group who have sold more than 20 million records, toured the world and scored 23 Top 40 hits including 10 in the Top 10.
Romeo is the only original member left with today's touring group and famed for his iconic Timpani drumming and deep bass vocals on the band's 1976 number one hit 'Under the Moon of Love'.
Dave, who stepped away as lead singer just over a decade ago, and Romeo spoke about the band's history and some fabulous stories from their almost 50-year career.
Here's the band pictured in 1974, the year of their breakout hit 'Hey Rock 'n' Roll' which reached number two in the UK charts.

PART 1 of the interview covers the origins of the band and their classic Teddy Boy image, and memories of playing in Morecambe.
PART 2 covers the band's heyday of the 1970s and '80s and some great stories from those days.
PART 3 covers Dave's decision to stop performing with the band, his love of Leicester City and Romeo's own footballing days, and what fans can expect from Friday's gig.
Friday's show in Morecambe starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available here.
