The full line-up has been announced for Morecambe Pride and Beyond Radio will be part of it!
The event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community will take place this Saturday, July 26, including a parade along the Promenade and an afternoon of live entertainment at The Platform.
The parade will start at 11am from the Battery and move along the seafront to the former Dome/Bubbles site.
Then from noon to 6pm, the Platform line-up includes The Blitz Kids, Johnny Wright, Smashby, Channy, Kyle Finn, Sign Out Loud, Sing Space Choir, former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison and Alex. This is a ticketed event.
Hosts will be Delia and River, with DJ Aldini.
There will be stalls from local businesses and charities.
"The Morecambe Pride team have worked tirelessly over the last few months to provide you with a day full of diversity and a day you can be proud of for you or the allies that support us," said a spokesperson for organisers, Out in the Bay.
"Due to funding cuts we have had to implement a £5pp (per person) charge for the day."
