A new comedy festival is coming to Lancaster next month.
The first ever Lancaster Comedy Fest is coming to five different venues between April 26-28.
There’ll be 34 live shows across the weekend, at The Borough, Kanteena, The Gregson, The Jailor's Barrel and The Storey Institute.
The event has been organised by local comic Laurence Tuck.
He said: ‘’It's going to be an amazing and exciting weekend of live comedy, featuring the best up and coming local talent as well as from further afield.
‘’Highlights include Twitter sensation Sooz Kempner, Ali Brice, Sam Serrano, Sally-Anne Fellows, One Man Arnie and Karl Porter, he of the slow motion goal celebration.
‘’Three days, five venues, thirty-four shows. Most are free entry, a couple are £5 to get in.
‘’It's a festival created to bring a feast of affordable live comedy which befits such an amazing city as Lancaster.’’
