A man has been arrested following multiple reports from the public of a car driving dangerously in the Bowness-on-Windermere area.
A 20-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested on Sunday (April 7) on suspicion of driving a vehicle over the prescribed limit of alcohol, failure to stop at a road traffic collision, dangerous driving, aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent, possession of a controlled drug (class B), and driving without insurance
He has been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
