Barrow man charged with burglary and fraud

A man from Barrow has been charged with burglary, fraud and assault offences after incidents in the town.

Gerald McBlain, aged 43, of James Street, Barrow was charged with burglary, fraud, assault of an emergency worker (police) and obstructing/resisting a constable in the course of their duty.

The charges follow incidents on Sunday, and again yesterday.

He is due to appear before Barrow Magistrates Court.
