Morecambe FC will play host to Wigan Athletic in pre-season friendly the weekend before the start of the new 2023/24 season.
The Latics will come to the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday 29th July for a 3.00pm kick off as both clubs do battle ahead of the new 2023/24 season getting underway the following weekend.
The fixture will be one of the Shrimps sterner tests in pre-season, and will be a fitting conclusion to a list of friendlies ahead of the League Two season.
Shaun Maloney will be pushing his Latics for an immediate return to the SkyBet Championship and will be looking to build on the momentum the club have following a recent change in ownership which has secured the future of the former Premier League side.
