Morecambe FC has appointed a new first team physio.
Paul Winstanley arrived at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium this summer.
He previously spent two years as part-time academy sports therapist at Manchester City and four years at Lancaster City as head therapist, as well as being joint manager of Lancaster City Ladies.
Paul completed a sports therapy degree at the University of Central Lancashire and later undertook a physio degree at the University of Liverpool.
Winstanley strengthens the medical department alongside Olly Howse and Josh Willan, and he admits his first couple of weeks couldn't have gone better.
"I'm settling in really well," he said.
"Both the staff and players have been absolutely fantastic with me, there's obviously been quite a few new faces as well and we're all in the same boat trying to fit in, but I'm really enjoying it so far.

"I'm pretty local myself, I know the area quite well and the football scene around here, I'm excited to step up and move forward with Morecambe.
"Pre-season has been a bit of a whirlwind for me so far, just trying to learn everything, learn structures and get to know the lads, but I'm really enjoying it. The coaches, the medical staff have all been great to work with.
"Olly Howse and Josh Willan are really experienced guys to work with and learn from, they've been great with me in terms of settling in and getting me things I need, I can't ask for a better medical team to be a part of."
