Morecambe boxer Reece MacMillan ready for ring return after two years

Morecambe fighter Reece MacMillan is all set to make his comeback after a two-year layoff.

Reece will fight Fonz Alexander this Saturday (May 11) on a VIP Boxing Promotions card at Blackpool Winter Gardens.

MacMillan has a professional record of 15 wins from 16 bouts and has won his last 11 fights in a row.

His last fight was in April 2022, when he beat Mark Butler on points in Bolton.

Reece trains in Morecambe with respected local fight coach Bob Howard (pictured below with Reece). Bob will be part of Team Fury for the upcoming Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk undisputed world heavyweight title bout in Saudi Arabia.

MacMillan is one of several professional boxers based in the Morecambe and Lancaster area, including world heavyweight champion Fury, featherweight contender Isaac Lowe, middleweight Owen Kirk, and unbeaten Niall Fielding and Nelson Birchall.
