Lancaster City are recruiting for a new team of Armed Forces veterans.
The FA has announced The North West Military Veterans Football League for armed forces veterans, with around 20 teams participating and Lancaster City are looking for former members of the UK Armed Forces who are available at least one day a week to train.
They will train as a team with guidance from a former military PTI (physical training instructor).
The team are looking for veterans who can play able-bodied football, but hope to develop more teams that will suit everybody in the future.
To register your interest, forward your full name and preferred contact method with the words 'Lancaster Veterans FC’ to Shawn Duckers on either Facebook, or Instagram (username exergonicPT).
Alternatively, you can register your interest via email to shawn.duckers2@gmail.com or text on 07737135735.
Updates on training and fixtures will follow in due course.
