Work is continuing on a new flats development at a former bank in Morecambe town centre.
Planning approval was given for seven new residential units at the former Santander bank at 42-46 Euston Road earlier this year.
Santander closed and vacated the building near New Town Square in early 2023.
A proposal went in to Lancaster City Council in 2023 to convert the upper floors for residential use.

This was to see whether prior approval was required for the change of use of part of the ground floor to provide access, and upper floor office space to seven dwellings. The council then granted prior approval.
Santander is one of several banks to close in Morecambe town centre in recent years, also including Barclays, HSBC and Nat West.
Halifax in the Arndale shopping centre will also close in September 2025.
