A much-loved community centre in Morecambe has reopened after a major revamp.
Stanleys Community Centre on Stanley Road celebrated its grand reopening after several months of closure for renovations.
Stanleys is a charitable organisation providing activities and support for the community.
It is now owned by Lancaster District Community and Voluntary Solutions (LDCVS) in trust.
"Stanleys Community Centre is officially open!" said a post on the LDCVS Facebook page.
"Today (May 16) we celebrated the incredible reopening of this much-loved space in the heart of (the) West End of Morecambe.
"Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and all those who made this transformation possible!

"Thanks to the funding received we're delighted to have worked with Stanleys to purchase the building so that it remains in community use forever!
"After months of dedication, collaboration, and sheer hard work, Stanleys has been beautifully renovated and is once again ready to serve the community with amazing activities, support, and opportunities.
"From the freshly decorated rooms to the buzzing energy of today’s blue-sky and sunny launch, it’s clear: Stanleys is back—and better than ever!
"Special thanks to West End Morecambe Big Local, Lancaster City Council, Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), Groundwork and all our supporters who helped bring this vision to life,.
"Here’s to the future of Stanleys and the positive impact it will continue to have on our community."

The building was bought in October by a partnership between Stanleys, West End Morecambe Biig Local (WEM) and LDCVS - and is the first community centre to be owned by LDCVS.
Funding of £170,000 came from WEM, £75,000 from Lancaster City Council’s Shared Prosperity Fund, and £51,000 from DCMS.
Stanleys provides a food club, community cafe, opportunities for volunteers, and an array of activities aimed at improving health and wellbeing.
