The road between Morecambe and Lancaster was closed after a collision involving two cars.
Emergency services were called at 11.12am on Monday following the incident on Morecambe Road between the Shrimp Roundabout and Lancaster and Morecambe College.
A police spokesperson said one of the drivers suffered a minor injury.
The road was reopened at around 11.56am with a police warning of heavy traffic in the area and possible delays.
