A hospital cafe in Morecambe which was due to permanently close has now reopened, following a campaign to save it.
The Queen Victoria Hospital cafe shut in February but has now reopened its doors following a campaign and online petition by volunteers.
The tea bar serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, crisps, cakes, as well as toast and fresh fruit.
There was an outcry in January after it was announced that the Royal Voluntary Service cafe would be closing.
Supporters said there would be nowhere for patients and staff including ambulance drivers to get a hot drink or snack if the cafe closed down.
The online petition to keep it open was signed by almost 500 people.
The cafes at Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal are now reopen, thanks to Morecambe Bay Trust volunteers.
