A taxi firm has revealed plans to open a new 24 hour office in Morecambe town centre.
Eden Taxis have bought a premises on Queen Street and plan to open a walk-in taxi office.
The Heysham-based company announced the news with a post on their Facebook page.
"Eden Taxis are extremely proud to announce the purchase of our first ever property," it said.
"This will become the base of our brand-new office - located right in the heart of Morecambe, positioned perfectly on the busy and very popular Queen Street.
"Thank you to all our office staff and drivers for your hard work, professionalism and loyalty - and a huge thank you to our customers for supporting a small family business with big ambitions.
"This is a massive milestone for our company, and just the start of even bigger things to come.
"More updates coming very soon…"
The building, most recently a shop, is located between The Masons pub and Nowhere night-spot.

Andrew Rhodes from Eden Taxis told Beyond Radio this week: "I think it's perfect. If everything goes to plan, we hope to be in there for January.
"It will be a 24 hour, walk-in taxi office."
Eden Private Hire is based at Brunel House, 9 Penrod Way in Heysham.
The company was established in June 2023 and is run by directors Mark Hepworth and Andrew Rhodes.
