Nine from Lancaster district among fifteen charged after major drugs operation

Fifteen people – including nine from the Lancaster and Morecambe area - have been charged with drug offences after police carried out a series of raids this week.

The arrests came as officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Unit executed a number of warrants across in the county and elsewhere.

A total of fourteen warrants were executed at addresses across Morecambe and Lancaster, Doncaster, Colne and Liverpool and 22 arrests made.

Fifteen of those have been charged with drugs conspiracy and money laundering and a quantity of Class A and B Drugs, cash and assets all seized.

Those charged are:

Brendan Harrington, 42, Christie Avenue, Morecambe

Mollie Harrington, 25, Christie Avenue, Morecambe

Remy John Freeman, 33, Kenilworth Road. Morecambe

Jamie Theobald, 41, Globe Drive, Morecambe

Kirsty Walsh, 35, Dukes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Daniel Hayes, 33, Dukes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Daniel Graham, 29, Sycamore Avenue, Halewood, Liverpool

Robert Campbell, 62, Barton Park, Northgate, Morecambe

Stuart Sohl, 55, Lichfield Road, Halewood, Liverpool

Mark Sturgeon, 55,  Dickson Street, Colne

Claire Clarkson, 45, Dickson Street, Colne

Marrie Freeman, 58, Main Road, Galgate

Tyler Green, 18, Townley Street, Morecambe

Adam Palmer, 32, Warton Avenue, Heysham

James Stovold, 42, Windholme Lane, Lancaster

They are all charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs and money laundering.

Theobald is also charged possession of an offensive weapon.

They appeared before magistrates this week.

Seven other people were also arrested on suspicion of drug offences and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.

It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation, and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
