Morecambe's Nice 'n' Sleazy punk festival gets underway today.
Nice 'n' Sleazy is the longest-running music festival in the town, having started in 2006 after the big 'Wasted' punk festival moved from Morecambe to Blackpool.
This year's event kicks off at The Exchange in the West End of Morecambe today (June 1), then continues at the Trimpell Club on Out Moss Lane every day from Thursday until Saturday (June 2 to 4).
Punk music fans will travel from all over Europe to watch around 80 bands perform.
LISTEN to organiser Ivan Harrison talking about the history of Nice 'n' Sleazy and plans for this year's event.
"Normally we would be planning for next year, and we are planning in a way for 2023, we've got some bands booked already, but we're not putting any tickets on sale yet," he said.
"We're going to have a meeting after this year's festival to discuss it.
"I've got a feeling that if this isn't the last year, sad to say that, then next year will probably be the last year.
"We don't think we've had support off the town, off the people that control things.
"I don't think they appreciate just how many people we bring into the town.
"Sadly I think it's time to move on. It will be sad to go, and sad to finish. There will be a tear in my eye when it does end."

"We've had grants off the (town) council in the past but we've found out we're not qualifying for a grant this year," he said.
"We've had to make cutbacks. We were going to do some things on the Promenade, with it being the Queen's Jubilee. All that's been kyboshed.
"Ticket sales pay for most of it, we have 80 bands on and they all have to be paid."
Ivan is pictured below, right, with Rob Ellershaw, landlord of The Exchange pub where the festival will kick off with six live bands on June 1.

Ivan said: "The festival has got a good tradition.
"People love coming to the town, filling the hotel rooms and B&Bs.
"People love the fashion, the hairstyles, lots of colour and vibrancy. It's a good weekend for Morecambe. It's going to be mega."
Acts performing this year include The Members, famed for their hit 'Sound of the Suburbs' who will perform at the Trimpell on the Thursday night.
Also featuring will be The Wasps, the Bar Stool Preachers, Rich Kid Problems and Vomit.
