The new album by Lancaster rock band Massive Wagons has gone straight in at number six in the UK album charts.
The news was announced on Friday when the weekly Official UK Albums Chart was released.
The band's new release 'Triggered' occupies a place in the Top 10 alongside 'Midnights' by Taylor Swift, a reissue of 'Revolver' by The Beatles and the latest releases by Arctic Monkeys and the duo of Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.
It has outsold/outstreamed albums by Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Foo Fighters.
The band members posted a message to their fans on their official Facebook page.
"In a few days when it’s sunk in a bit and we’ve sobered up we will make the required thanks...but for now IT'S NUMBER 6!!!!" they said.
"YOU ARE THE BLOODY GREATEST!"
The album is the second consecutive release by the group to hit the Top 10, after 'House of Noise' reached number nine in 2020.
Prior to that, 'Full Nelson' made number 16 in 2018.
