A much-loved Morecambe actress and singer will be remembered on a night of music to raise funds for a very good cause.
An evening of entertainment at Heysham Golf Club on this evening (Saturday January 28) will be held in tribute to Sandie Perrins, who died in 2022 after a battle with cancer.
This special night came about after Sandie won a raffle prize a few years ago - which was an evening of entertainment with local singer Ashleigh Wood at a venue of her choice.
Sandie, who entertained the people of Morecambe and Lancaster over many years with her captivating performances in amateur dramatics and theatre productions, decided to use the prize to organise a night to raise money for the charity Adullam as a thank you for supporting her through her illness.
She wanted all proceeds to go to the charity who require funding to continue their work with people who are in need of care, friendship and support.
Ashleigh, a popular singer who has performed at many local venues and festivals, will perform on the night and tickets are available now.

They cost £5 (for those waged) and £2.50 (for those unwaged). There is also an opportunity to make a further donation to the charity if you would like to do so. There will also be a raffle on the night.
Tickets are available here. They are also on sale from Morecambe Visitor Information Centre at The Platform, and on the door.
