A multi-million pound renovation has been completed at the Royal King's Arms Hotel in Lancaster.
The 55-bedroom hotel has undergone a complete overhaul and modernisation both inside and out, during five years of work.
The hotel is the second oldest business in Lancaster and celebrates its 400th anniversary as a hotel in 2024.
The building is owned by Artisan Hotels who decided to carry out a top-to-bottom uplift after buying the premises five years ago, looking to restore it to its former glory.
"We wanted to ensure that the hotel continues to be a beloved landmark for generations to come," said Bob Warrior, general manager.
"We are confident that our guests will appreciate the modern amenities and luxurious feel."
The hotel's 55 guest rooms, public spaces, and event spaces have undergone a complete overhaul, now boasting a modern look with rooms featuring flat-screen TVs, modern amenities, and new furnishings.
