A mini-festival that's 'More than a Market' returns to Morecambe next month.
'More than a Market' is a great day out, with a selection of local market traders including arts and crafts, food and drink and local artisan goods.
There will be live music, creative workshops and 'wellbeing' activities, giving the feel of a mini 'festival'.
The event is a community market and celebration to help bring people into the West End and showcase local creative talent, by encouraging enterprise and creative arts.
The event, on Saturday, May 13, runs from 11am -4pm and is organised by Good Things Collective, Creative West End and More Music.
‘We Love the West End’ is the first of five monthly markets kicking of the Spring-Summer season, with them running every month between May and September this year on the site of West End Gardens.
Market traders, food stalls, creative workshops, performance and more will fill the West End promenade site with handmade creations available to buy, creative projects and activities for people to enjoy.
This year organisers are introducing a quiet hour to encourage ‘chilled out vibes’ across the site as we try and create a space that is welcoming to all but particularly those that may struggle with loud noises and busy spaces.
