Morecambe hovercraft station will host an open day this Saturday (September 3).
People are invited to come and meet the volunteer RNLI team and enjoy a day of activities from 10am to 3pm at the station near the Stone Jetty.
There will be face painting, teas and coffees available, tombola, hook-a-duck, wellie ping pong, water safety talks, kit demos, and performances by line dancers and cloggers, and the Happy Feet cheerleaders.
The hovercraft will also be launched at 1pm.
The event will be taking place at the same time as the Morecambe Vintage-by-the-sea festival on the promenade.
