A new chair has been elected at the Shrimps Trust.
Tarnia Elsworth said she was honoured to have been appointed to the role as chair of the Morecambe FC supporters' group.
Other roles on the newly-elected Shrimps Trust board are Patrick Stoyles (vice-chair), Jack Steer (treasurer), James Main (secretary) and Matthew Newsham (vice-secretary).
The other trustees are Michael Hope, Ben Cassar, Joe Kennedy, Paul Crabtree, Richard Allan, Joel Shooter and Ian Lyon.
The trust will hold a strategy day on September 15 to set out its priorities for the coming year.
"I am keen to improve on the excellent work undertaken so far by the trust, and following a strategy day with all trustees on the 15th September, we will be able to communicate our agreed priorities to members and fans," said Tarnia.
"Away travel, increasing our membership numbers, progress with the sale of the club, and being involved at a national level with the Football Governance Bill are all on my priority list.
"This is a very exciting time for the Shrimps Trust, and I urge supporters of Morecambe FC locally, and further afield to join us in our efforts.
"It's a big aim for me as chair for us to be open and transparent with our members and other fans.
"We are Stronger Together.
"I intend for our trust to have a real impact, in order to do that we need the support from Morecambe FC fans, locals, and football fans everywhere."
Tarnia also co-owns TP Financial Solutions financial advisers in Morecambe with her wife Annabel Lumsden, and is vice president of Lancaster and Morecambe Chamber of Commerce.
The Shrimps Trust began its life on December 1 2016 at a meeting of fans at Morecambe Cricket Club, where it was unanimously agreed to form a supporters' trust, then it later became a legally constituted body.
The trust represents the voices of its membership and the wider fan base of Morecambe Football Club.
