The first ever Morecambe Bay Mud Run for St John's Hospice was muddy good fun for everyone who took part.
The event was held on Sunday in conjunction with Morecambe Sailing Club.
Participants took part in a mini course through the mud on Morecambe beach close to the Sailing Club starters' office.

"It's safe to say we had great fun!" said Lisa Morgan, fundraising manager at St John's Hospice in Lancaster.
"Lancaster Fire Brigade were on hand to help fill the skip kindly donated by Ace Skips and participants certainly got in the mood, in their fancy dress outfits!
"The sun shone and the views across the Bay didn't disappoint.
"The event raised over £400 for St John's Hospice and we are already thinking how we can make it a bigger and better event next year!"
