A pipe leak on a residential street is taking so long to fix that residents have created their own mini-beach!
Water coming from the pavement and collecting on the roadside at Goodwood Avenue in Slyne-with-Hest was reported two weeks ago, a resident told Beyond Radio.
The leak won't be repaired until at least Tuesday.
So as they wait, householders put a brave face on it with inflatable palm trees, flamingo, beach balls and even some rubber ducks!
"We reported it over 10 days ago and it has still not been fixed," said resident Louise Simpson, on July 23.
"We have even had ducks and a beach form!"

Water company United Utilities said the leak has been investigated and has been scheduled for repair next Tuesday, July 30.
"It has been a slightly more complicated investigation than usual, involving more than one team and some additional valve-operation to pinpoint the exact location of the leak on the pipe," said a United Utilities spokesperson.
"Should all be sorted after Tuesday. We’re very grateful to customers for taking the time to report leaks to us and we will always repair them as quickly as possible."
