A man will appear in court next month after being found in possession of £30,000 in cash at Lancaster station.
Officers from British Transport Police detained a man at the train station on Friday and conducted a stop and search.
This led to the discovery of approximately £30,000 in cash.
He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of criminal property and was interviewed by officers from Lancaster CID.
This resulted in him being charged and remanded in custody.
