A Lancaster mental health campaigner has spoken to Beyond Radio about how he's trying to make this Christmas a little better for 11 children.
Jake Davidson is raising money to buy presents for youngsters who are housed in homeless accommodation in the Lancaster and Morecambe Bay area.
Jake, who runs the men's mental health support group L.A.D.S (Listening And Destroying Stigma) has raised £1200 so far thanks to the support of the local community.
"We are going to be sending all funds raised to help 11 children who are in a local homeless accommodation," he said.
"To supply them with stockings filled with sweets, chocolates and candy canes and Christmas trinkets.
"We also want to try and get the communal area decorated with lights and Christmas decorations to bring the feeling of Christmas to these kids who are probably not going to be feeling so festive due to their circumstances this year."

(WARNING - this interview contains discussion about suicide and suicidal feelings).
"We also want to try get these children presents to open on Christmas Day as no child should be waking up to nothing on Christmas," he said
"These people are here through no fault of their own and this could easily happen to anyone spare a thought to what it must be like for these poor children. They deserve some happiness, they deserve some Christmas joy.
"The remainder of the funds will be used to support Dolphinlee House (care home in Lancaster) and I’ll be going dressed as Santa to spend time with the residents
"We will have live music on and hope to make it a little more magical this Christmas for them and provide them with shortbreads and boxes of chocolates and mince pies."
