Plans to expand a Lancaster pub with a new pool hall and cocktail bar have been revealed.
Greens in Lancaster will open a new sports bar with pool tables in the former DW Sports shop unit next door.
Kieran McNamara, general manager of the North Road venue, told Beyond Radio they are aiming to open the pool hall on Thursday November 17.
He said the new facility will have 10 'English' 8-ball pool tables and two American 9-ball tables, as well as TV screens with surround sound, a dartboard area, pinball and boxing machines.
Mr McNamara also said Greens was planning to open a wine, cocktail and tapas bar in the former Blue Moon Thai restaurant by the end of the year.
He said the pub would be recruiting for new staff.
Greens opened in 2020 under new ownership.
Previously, the pub was run by national pub chain JD Wetherspoon as The Green Ayre.
The venue was forced to close in 2015 after flooding during Storm Desmond.
