A Lancaster jewellery store is appealing for information after significant damage was caused to its shop front.
Silver Tree Jewellery on Penny Street was targeted early yesterday morning, with what is believed to be a large block thrown at the front window, causing extensive damage.
Speaking on their Facebook page, they described their frustration: ‘’Speaking on behalf of Lancaster City centre’s small businesses, after the past two and a half years of uncertainty, this is not what we need to be dealing with right now.
‘’If anyone knows who is carrying out these attacks on our shops, or if anyone saw anything at 5.15am on Tuesday 12th then please get in touch with us or Lancaster police.’’
Silver Tree has been trading in the city centre since opening its doors over a decade ago.
