A popular annual food and drink festival in Lancaster will not be taking place in 2023.
Lancaster Food and Drink Festival has traditionally been held in and around Lancaster Brewery at Lancaster Leisure Park over the May bank holiday weekend.
The event pulls huge numbers of visitors eager to sample some of the best produce from local food and drink suppliers.
However organisers have announced that the festival will not happen in 2023 - although they hope it will return next year.
"We have lots of exciting plans and new developments happening at the Brewery this year including building work which could have impacted the festival," said Ellie Rutherford, general manager of The Sun Hotel and Bar in Lancaster.
"We’re also looking to refresh and revitalise the whole festival and want to ensure we have the time and energy to give the revamp everything it deserves for our stall holders and visitors alike."
The Brewery will be hosting other events over the coming months including its Family Fun Days on April 12 and 13.
Details of the Lancaster Christmas Market at the Brewery will also be released soon.
