Broken screens showing the times of arriving and departing buses at Lancaster Bus Station have finally been fixed.
The digital screens inside the bus station were working again on Tuesday after many months of being out of order.
Lancaster Bus Users' Group welcomed the repairs, saying in a Facebook post: "We have been asking for someone to sort out the bus station departure screens for ages, but now it has happened - and with a new, easy to read, presentation as well!
"Thanks to all concerned."
Lancashire County Council told Beyond Radio last month that the system would be replaced within the next financial year but were unable to confirm an exact date.
“The digital display at Lancaster Bus Station was delivered as part of a partnership between the University of Lancaster and Lancaster City Council," said a Lancashire County Council spokesperson.

"Plans are already in place to replace the system, with work scheduled to take place in the next financial year, 2026/27.
"While we’re not yet able to confirm an exact timeframe, the replacement is being programmed and will be taken forward as part of that planned investment.”
This comes as the county council has been testing digital bus timetables in parts of Morecambe and Heysham.
