A Lancaster primary school has put on a 24-hour busk-a-thon of non stop live music to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
The Bowerham Busk was held at Bowerham Primary School from 9.30am on Thursday to 9.30am on Friday.
At time of writing, the event had raised £3920.76 for the BBC's annual televised charity fundraiser.
Teachers, pupils, families and local bands all got involved in the busk-a-thon, which began in assembly on Thursday and continued right the way through the school day and into the night, before finishing with another assembly on Friday.
"We haven't stopped at all," said Vix Porter, a teacher at the school.
"Mr Haughton and Mr Thomas have played right through the night, taking it in shifts, one of the dads Mr Booth did shifts as well, we've had a recorder lesson, done some karaoke, it's been continuous. We're all about children and it's going to the children who need it most and for us, that's really really important."

*Bolton-le-Sands C of E Primary School has raised more than £4600 for Children in Need.
As part of their fundraising efforts, the children took part in the RUNPUDSEY event, where they were sponsored to run laps around the school track. They also dressed up in yellow and spotty clothes at school on Friday, the day of the BBC Children in Need appeal, to show their support for the cause.
Natasha Todd from the school said: "One student raised more than £200 on their own, demonstrating the incredible generosity and spirit within the school community."
