A new drop-in centre for Armed Forces veterans is set to open in central Morecambe.
The Bay Veterans' Association hub will be a place where local veterans can go to meet each other and receive support.
The new hub will be on Euston Road in Morecambe opposite the Travelodge, in the former Lancaster and Morecambe College training centre.
The centre will be run by the new Bay Veterans' Association, set up last year by ex-Royal Marine Gary Kniveton.
"It's absolutely taken off and we've just taken over our first property," said Gary.

"It's an ideal property for us. It was set up as an office so upstairs we're going to continue with an office and a training room.
"The veterans will be based downstairs where we've got a large function room for them, a disabled access toilet, a new kitchen and a counselling room.
"We have our own counsellor who will be (there) every Monday."
The centre will be open from Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm to begin with, but Gary hopes it will eventually open 9-5 and at weekends as well.
Retired sports teacher Gary was previously veterans' project officer at Morecambe FC
He set up his new not-for-profit community interest company last September, and it now has 150 members.
They meet for coffee mornings at The York pub in Morecambe on most Wednesdays and on the first Saturday in every month, and also support the monthly coffee mornings at Morecambe FC.
They also have a Wednesday night gathering at the Commodore Club, Heysham, and meet fortnightly on Saturday mornings in Carnforth, with one meeting at the Ex-Servicemen's Club and one at the fire station.
