A man with cerebral palsy for whom "every movement is an effort" is canoeing the length of Lancaster Canal to raise money for a good cause.
Charlie Holland has been canoeing 50 miles along Lancaster Canal from Stainton near Kendal to just North of Preston to raise funds for BBC Children In Need.
Charlie has cerebral palsy and has mobility issues, but has not let that stop him from taking on the challenge.
He has been heading through Carnforth, Hest Bank and Lancaster over the past few days.
On Saturday Beyond Radio's Paul T spoke to Alison Albion, who was accompanying Charlie near Tewitfield
"Charlie has severe cerebral palsy which means every movement is an effort," said Alison.
"He's going to be kayaking for 50 miles on a specialist plastic seat.
"We've got five days,10 miles each day, we're being helped by the scouts, and they've been training him."

Charlie is being supported by Lancashire Explorer Scouts and West Lancs SplAShU.
Today he is on Day 4 of his challenge, heading from Garstang to Woodplumpton.
