A series of free social and creative workshops for the over 65s is back in Lancaster and Morecambe.
Prime Time is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, and is aimed at older community members who want to meet up with like-minded people, looking for a creative opportunities and new experiences.
Sessions include acting, performance, script writing, directing and theatre technology, and will be delivered by an extended team of creative freelancers and specialists.
They start this week - 10am-12pm in Morecambe at the Trimpell Sports & Social Club, or 1pm-3pm at The Dukes in Lancaster, from Thursday 27th April.
For more information, contact Charlie: primetime@dukeslancaster.org / 01524 598522
During 2023 all sessions are free, after National Lottery funding was secured.
The grant from the National Lottery Community Fund and the National Lottery Players will facilitate a three-year project to reimagine and revive the venue’s ‘Prime Time’ activity.
Prime Time was initially launched during Christine Mackie's production of KIN at The Dukes in May 2022, offering people the chance to work with Christine to create monologues in response to the production.
