The Eden Project is advertising four new roles connected to its planned £100m visitor attraction on Morecambe Promenade.
Applications are wanted for fundraising officer, administrator and finance officer, senior project manager, and project engagement and communications officer.
John O'Neill, Morecambe BID (Business Improvement District) manager, called this "a hugely significant milestone".
"Eden Project Morecambe is no longer just a vision for the future - it’s becoming a reality," said Mr O'Neill.
"These vacancies represent the first of many opportunities for people to be directly involved in shaping a project that will transform our town and inspire generations to come.”
The new positions come after the first Eden Project Morecambe employee, project director John Pye (below), was appointed earlier this year.

The advertised roles are:

Fundraising Officer (£27,000–£32,000, fixed term) – Support Eden’s fundraising ambitions by identifying opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and engaging with donors. Applications close 7th September 2025.

Administrator & Finance Officer (£27,609, permanent) – Provide vital administration and financial coordination to the Eden Morecambe team, supporting staff and volunteers. Applications close 9th September 2025.

Senior Project Manager (circa £70,000, fixed term) – Lead on the delivery of infrastructure, construction, horticulture and visitor experience, ensuring the £100m project is delivered to Eden’s vision of sustainability and public benefit. Applications close 9th September 2025.

Project Engagement & Communications Manager (£36,142, permanent) – Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, businesses and stakeholders, ensuring Eden’s values are embedded into the heart of the project. Applications close 9th September 2025.

Eden said the scheme, set to be built on the former Dome and Bubbles site, will "create a landmark visitor attraction inspired by the natural beauty and ecology of Morecambe Bay".
"Combining striking architectural 'shell-like' biomes, immersive exhibitions, performance spaces and education programmes, Eden Project Morecambe is set to transform the town into a beacon for sustainability, learning and tourism," said an Eden spokesperson.
Work is scheduled to begin next year, with an expected opening date of late 2028.
The latest in a series of public meetings about plans for the scheme - the Eden Community Conversation - will take place at Lancaster and Morecambe College on Tuesday September 2 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
