You can now apply for the first job vacancy for Eden Project Morecambe.
The position is for a Community Engagement Officer, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The job will be under the umbrella of ‘The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery’, a scheme that brings Eden together with Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s award winning Myplace wellbeing programme, the Wildlife Trusts’ Living Seas coastal engagement experts, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, and Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
The organisation officially moved into a unit in the Arndale Centre earlier this year.
The successful candidate will deliver a programme of successful community engagement and facilitated nature-led activities focussing on marine and coastal environments.
Eden say they’re looking for someone to promote the project and enthuse people about the spectacular nature of Morecambe Bay through volunteering opportunities, events, social media and effective networking with a wide range of individuals and organisations.
The closing date for all applications is at 5:00pm on Monday August 7.
