Emergency services will demonstrate how they deal with the aftermath of a road crash at a free public event on Morecambe Promenade.

The 'Alive to Drive' event is an opportunity to meet members of the emergency services and other road safety organisations.

It is being held on Friday, August 23 from 1pm to 5pm at the Bay Arena Car Park (near The Dome/Bubbles site) on Marine Road Central.

The road traffic collision demonstration will take place at 3pm.

This is one of a series of 'Alive to Drive' events being held this summer throughout Lancashire.

Lancashire Police will attend, with police vehicles and uniform for kids to try on.

There will also be a demonstration from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, along with several other stalls and services attending.
