Emergency services have rescued two people from the River Lune in Lancaster.
Rescue teams were called to the river off Halton Road on Saturday afternoon.
An eye-witness said that four fire appliances and one fire car and two ambulance vehicles were at the scene.
A post on the Hornby Fire Station Facebook page said they were called, alongside crews from Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth, and special teams from Preston, to a water rescue, at 12.05pm.
It said that two people were rescued by teams using an inflatable sled.

"The crew were there for approximately two hours before being released and returning back home," said the Hornby Fire Station post.

Emergency services also rescued two people from the Halton Road section of the Lune earlier this month.
