Firefighters have tackled a tumble dryer fire at a house in Carnforth.
Fire engines from Carnforth and Bolton-le-Sands were called to Arnehm Road in the town at 6.51pm on Sunday April 6.
The dryer had been dragged to the back door by the occupier whilst it was smoking before bursting into flames, said a spokesperson for Carnforth Fire Station.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews used one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
"Fire crews were detained for approximately 30 minutes."
